The comparison was made between the
fully electronically instant water heater DSX
(flow rate of 8l/min with an exact temperature of 38°C) and a hydraulic instant water heater 21 kW with a necessary mixed-water for 38°C of 11.6 l/min used in a 3-person-household with parameter as follows:
Daily use per person: 4 min
Inlet temperature: 12°C
Days of use: 330 days
Electricity price per kWh: 0.20 €
Costs for water and sullage: 4.30 € per m3
By using fully electronically instant water heaters there can be a saving of 140 € per year compared to hydraulically controlled instant water heaters. A heater replacement is therefore more than worth-it because installation costs are charged off early.
